Promote the integration, creation, growth, and sustainability of the information technology sector in Puerto Rico to ensure that local firms are highly competitive in the national and international arena.

What We Do

The Cluster is an independent, representative organization who advocates and represents the IT industry to decision-makers and leaders in the government and IT sector.

We enjoy strong working and collaborative relationships with a wide range of governmental and private organizations to the benefit of our members.

This includes the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce, Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, Federal Contracting Center, Office of the Chief Information Officer, University of Puerto Rico, Polytechnic University, Univiersia Puerto Rico among others.

Our Board of Directors

The Puerto Rico IT Cluster is a registered Not-for Profit corporation established in 2011. Our By Laws provides for the election of 11 Executive Members drawn from our membership.

The Elected Executive Members determine among themselves who will be appointed to the different Board positions. The Executive Director is not a member of the Board but actively participates in all Board meetings. The Board is broadly representative of Puerto Rico IT industry and acts to further advance the interests of the industry in the Island environment, the US Federal market and in overseas markets.
